WHAT CAUSES THOSE UGLY ROOF STAINS?
The answer may surprise you... It is actually a type of algae growth
called Gloecapsa Magma. This algae is spread from home to home via
airborne spores. When the spores land on shingles that are moist, they
begin to feed on the organic material (mainly limestone) in the shingles.
It is common for algae infestations to begin on the Northern and/or
Western slopes of the roof, or in heavily shaded areas. These are the
areas of the roof that are the most seriously affected by the algae.
If left untreated, algae can cover the entire roof of a home.
HOW CAN THE UGLY STAINS BE REMOVED?

calibrated, state-of- the-art roof cleaning equipment, and the uniquely
engineered, environmentally safe Roof Shampoo® product, along
with our specific roof cleaning techniques.
Our roof cleaning technician sprays the Roof Shampoo® product
on the affected shingles to remove the algae and its resulting stains
from your roof. The product causes the algae roots to release. The
technician then uses the roof cleaning equipment which is specially
calibrated at a low, gentle pressure to wash away all the algae that
has been loosened by the product. Damaging high pressure is NEVER
used. The result is a clean and beautiful roof free of algae stains,
